Zach's Story
Zach was born in Ohio and lived in Brecksville until he was 12 years old. Like most grade-school and pre-teenage boys, he enjoyed hanging out with his friends, playing sports, being outside as much as possible and spending time with family. He loved to ski, scuba dive, fish, play with his dogs and always looked forward to family vacations. Our family moved to Collierville, Tennessee the summer before Zach entered 8th grade. It was over those next four years that we proudly watched Zach develop into a young man who was authentic, compassionate, confident and strong in his faith. He always had a positive outlook on life, had a permanent smile on his face, enjoyed making people laugh and truly loved his friends and family, Those fortunate enough to get to know Zach were blessed by his kindness, zest for life and sense of humor.
Zach's life ended tragically in a car accident on June 11, 2018 at the young age of 16. We will continue to celebrate Zach's life and keep his memory alive by hosting an annual fishing tournament for anglers of all ages. Zach will live in our hearts and memories forever. His favorite bible verse is Matthew 4:19 (ESV) - And he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

As the situation with coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we will follow the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on postponing or canceling social events of 10 or more people. Thus, our events previously planned for April are postponed until further notice. Refer back to this site in the future for updates.
